George Fryer started his career in the SoCal punk scene with Peace Corp., a politico/punk band that signed with two record labels and released a critically acclaimed album. He shared stages with Violent Femmes, Sugar Ray, Blink 182, Offspring, Garbage, Cake, Stone Temple Pilots, and Hole.
In 2000, he went acoustic. The result was "Decaf," a softer-tinged debut that launched a new chapter. Over two decades later, George is a fixture of the Orange County and Long Beach live music scene, performing both solo and with the George Fryer Combo.
A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, bass, and drums, George writes and performs original music alongside a repertoire of 5,000 classic rock songs spanning the 50s through 2000s. He runs his own label, Salih Records, and is a member of the Long Beach Music Council.
Available for solo acoustic sets or full band performances. 5,000 songs from the 50s through the 2000s, plus a deep catalog of originals.
Weddings, corporate events, restaurants, bars, private parties, and festivals across Southern California. Solo acoustic or full band. 200+ shows a year and counting.
